Bulk Chemical Services, LLC Announces Plant Expansion

Following an extensive engineering design phase, Bulk Chemical Services, LLC completed a major capital expansion at its Sandersville, GA site for biocide manufacturing.  Given the diversity of chemistries employed a focus on environmental stewardship and plant safety were primary considerations with the final construction resulting in a new plant on the existing site and an extensive expansion in capabilities. “EH&S were our focus coupled with a commitment to product quality and system reliability” as the basis for the project explained David Anderson, Vice President. The biocide plant was operational starting in early 2008 and has seen a steady stream of community and customer visitors.  “A number of our existing customers expressed interest in a local source for these products and BCS has been able to meet a market need for quality, cost effective chemistry during challenging conditions in the pigments industry” commented Chris Harken, Marketing Manager.
