Bulk Chemical Services, LLC (BCS) was established to meet a market need for low cost specialty chemicals and custom manufacturing. The Atlanta based company focuses on customers that are typically involved in kaolin mining, chemical production, paper manufacturing, importation of chemicals or a provider of water treatment services with operations in the southern U.S.

Specialty Chemicals: BCS is a producer of polyacrylate polymers and biocides. These products are marketed directly to the white pigments industry and through technical resellers to other markets. The company also manufactures proprietary polyacrylate polymers and biocides for third parties.

Custom Manufacturing: Our business provides services to these customers by allowing them to utilize BCS facilities and capabilities without additional capital investment. The company provides logistical, bulk storage, toll blending, warehousing, repackaging and custom manufacturing services by utilizing a network of chemical storage and manufacturing facilities strategically located in the target geography. Customers are able to take advantage of purchasing leverage by procuring larger quantities of materials i.e. railcars versus tank trucks, avoid capital and manpower investment for manufacturing and enjoy low cost repackaging of their materials. BCS is a privately owned company which acquires chemical assets that have completed their useful life for the current owner. These facilities are redeveloped to provide manufacturing, storage and blending capacity for the business. BCS sites provide customers with readily available capacity, are ISO certified and have EPA establishment numbers. Typically, the company handles customer products on consignment.

The company founder and President, Seth Spurlock, is a chemical industry senior executive with previous experience as President/CEO of several North American chemical companies. He has led organizations through leveraged buyouts, acquisitions and international expansions with experience in both the commodity and specialty chemicals markets.
